Exploring local ingredients and tastes, the Dowson family have been testing home recipes around their kitchen table for the last six years. The result is a delectable, creamy brand that you can trust to be as good as it looks.
They pride themselves on the variety and diversity of flavours that they offer, many of them unique.
Their new visitor centre is now open featuring an animal pets area, outdoor play area, an ice cream parlour and cafe. They can also arrange falconry days, school & group bookings and talks and demonstrations.
**New for summer - The first sunflower maze in the country! The maze takes about 45 minutes to complete, and all who take part and complete the maze quiz are entered into a draw to receive a year’s supply of Mrs Dowson’s ice cream.
Road Directions
From the M6 junction 31 follow signs for Clitheroe A59. We are situated approximately 4 miles along the A59 between Preston and Clitheroe. Look out for the Mrs Dowson Ice Cream signs.
