**The new pools at Blackburn Sports and Leisure Centre, in Fielden Street, will open to the public on 9 March 2015, (Date subject to confirmation) with Olympic swimming double-gold medallist Rebecca Adlington firing the official starting gun 11 days later.**

The new leisure centre on Feilden Street is a partnership between Blackburn with Darwen Council and Blackburn College & is due to open in March 2015. The Centre will be open Monday to Friday 6.30am – 10pm and Saturday and Sunday 9am – 5pm.

It will provide for students and residents with a large fitness suite, a dance/ aerobics studio, sauna and steam room and eight games courts. And of course, a new pool and fun slides.

Indoor fun for all the family… what ever the weather.

Blackburn with Darwen clearly has an assortment of opportunities for all people and ages with different interests whether playing or relaxing so get yourself down there and get active!

Road Directions

Blackburn Sport & Leisure Centre is located in the town centre of Blackburn, next to Blackburn College.
The college car parks will be available for free parking in the mornings until 8am and after 4.30pm in the afternoons. They will also be available at weekends and during school holidays.
Feilden Street multi-storey car park is open Monday to Saturday 7am – 11pm. Parking fees as follows:
Up to 1 hour £1.00
Up to 2 hours £1.50
Up to 4 hours £2.50
Up to 8 hours £3.70
Over 8 hours £6.00
For gym members: Feilden Street car park can be used for up to 3 hours at a cost of just 50p.

All Council car parks within the town centre are free after 3pm, Monday to Friday and all day Saturday and Sunday.
