Step into the warm and welcoming atmosphere of this 150 year old pub full of Lancashire tradition, located in the picturesque village of Pleasington. The Clog and Billycock’s unusual name comes from the favourite attire of a previous landlord. Today the contemporary menu offers twists on traditional local favourites using the best locally and regionally sourced food. Main menus change with the seasons and there's always a specials menu with regularly changing offerings.
And the ethos of good food extends to the children’s menu which is carefully chosen to appeal to young diners while still being full of flavour.
The extensive drinks menu includes a range of lager, cider and craft ale, handpicked wines and a large range of soft drinks. The gin bar includes over 30 of the best loved gins from near and far, as well as some more unusual choices.
A terrace to the side of the pub catches the evening sun for the warmer days of the year and in the winter the real log fires are always lit inside to offer a cosy haven away from the elements.
