Spice of Life

Whalley Range Bazaar is Blackburn’s vibrant and historic Asian quarter. It has a thriving food and drink scene and enough authentic restaurants, cafes and food shops, specialising in cuisine from the Sub-Continent, to rival Manchester’s famous ‘Curry Mile’.

People already travel from all over the UK to sample the unique atmosphere of Blackburn’s ‘Gateway to Asia’. Significant investment in the area over the next few years will improve the look of the area, integrate it more fully into existing shopping areas and increase tourism, making Whalley Range Bazaar a must-see visitor destination.

As well as the numerous Asian restaurants situated around Victoria Street and Whalley Range, there are also a couple of shops where you can sample more unusual ethnic delicacies.
