The show was held at Witton Park when the estate was owned by the Fielden family, the last occasion being in 1915.

Previous events have featured a quad and motorcycle stunt show, shire horse displays, and show jumping. sheep dog demonstrations, ferret racing, gundog demonstrations, flyball and dog agility and the Lancashire Young Farmers tug-o-war

Visitors will also be able to see some of the new developments at the 480 acre Witton Park, including the £3m investment in the New Witton Park Arena, athletics track, play areas and cycle centre.

Councillor Damian Talbot, Blackburn with Darwen Council’s Executive Member for Culture, Leisure and Young People, said: “It's fantastic that such a large show is returning to the borough and at Witton Park, which is such a great venue. This is a really family-friendly event and should be an entertaining day out for all visitors, there should be something for everybody. I am looking forward to it.”
