FREE SUMMER OF FUN AT THE MALL BLACKBURN

The Mall Blackburn is giving parents of Lancashire the chance to escape the typical summer holiday weather with a whole host of FREE children’s activities.

The eight-day summer spectacular starts on Monday 24th August and planned activities include the chance to win a fabulous scooter and a £200 Mall Gift Card by taking part in a Mall monster colouring competition.

Other activities include balloon-modelling, arts and crafts, glitter tattoos, colouring tables, hair braiding, face-painting and personal appearances by Elsa and Spiderman!  

Children will also get the chance to design their own ‘back to school’ canvas bag. The winner will receive a bumper Chad Valley 250 Super Art Set and a £20 Mall Gift Card.

Loraine Jones, General Manager at The Mall Blackburn, said: “The summer holidays can end up costing parents a fortune in days out and excursions, which can be totally ruined by the typical British weather.

“As a shopping centre based in the heart of the community we want to ensure everyone can have fun for free, whatever the weather, during the holidays.

“We have activities and competitions to suit all ages and we are looking forward to seeing the children having a great time in The Mall this summer.”

Monday 31st August: Balloon-modelling, arts and crafts, hair braiding

All activities will take place in Victoria Court, behind the Ask Me Point, from 10.00am until 4.30pm.
