Free, monthly ‘Wellbeing Walks’ start on Friday, April 21st 2017 from The Mall Blackburn and are open to everyone including shoppers, retailers and staff.

The one-hour walks around the town centre begin at 1pm starting at The Mall Blackburn’s Ask Me Point in Victoria Court.

Andy Higham, Manager at Pure Gym Blackburn, said: “We’re thrilled to launch our new monthly ‘Wellbeing Walks’ starting at The Mall Blackburn.

“Everyone is welcome to come along, whether they want to improve their fitness, mental wellbeing or just want to take time out from their day to enjoy some light exercise.”

Loraine Jones, General Manager at The Mall Blackburn, said: “It’s proven that walking can boost physical fitness and also has a positive impact on your mind too. It’s wonderful that Pure Gym are encouraging us to get active and even a light stroll through Blackburn can make a big difference – it could be the start of a new healthy lifestyle!”

Pure Gym Blackburn’s ‘Wellbeing Walks’ will take place every month on the second to last Friday and are free of charge.
