Scottish Legends Roll into Blackburn

Tartan scarves at the ready as Bay City Rollers icon Les McKeown rolls into Blackburn this October.

Les McKeown brings the days of ‘rollermania' back with his 4-piece band The Legendary Bay City Rollers as they perform the classics including 'Shang-a-Lang' and 'Give a Little Lov'e as well as introducing their latest songs.

Known for the tartan calf-length trousers and scarves, the Bay City Rollers achieved nine UK top ten hits including two number ones. Their first albums ‘Rollin' and 'Once Upon a Star' stayed in the charts for a total of 99 weeks from 1974-1976. The band claimed the UK's biggest selling single in the year 1975 with ‘Bye Bye Baby'. The Bay City Rollers topped the charts on both sides of the Atlantic on the 1970s, selling over 100 million albums throughout their music career.

With their demand as big as it ever was, the current Legendary Bay City Rollers bring a new energy to all the classic hits at King George's Hall on Sunday 1st October.
