‘Best Christmas experience ever’ back by popular demand!

The Mall Blackburn is set to welcome what shoppers described as ‘the best Christmas experience ever’ back for 2018.
Its unique Santa’s Workshop concept was a massive hit with visitors in 2017 and this year’s event is set to be even bigger and better.
Located across from the Ask Me Point in Victoria Court, it is an immersive experience that includes a tour of a secret workshop and a Toy Hall of Fame, which has some of Santa’s favourite Christmas wish list toys from yesteryear.
Open every day from Saturday 24th November through to Christmas Eve, the theatrical experience includes Santa, the nutcracker fairy, a toy soldier, dazzling lights, mesmerising music and much more!
Visitors from across Lancashire raved about last year’s event and are looking forward to seeing the Santa’s Workshop again.
Nicola Riding from Clayton-le-Moors was delighted to hear that the experience was making a comeback. She said: “Our visit last year was magical and the gifts were fabulous!
“We have visited Santa all over, and everywhere in between, and this one was definitely the best. We look forward to coming again this year.”
Cheryl Magee from Accrington added: “Santa was by far the best one we have seen in years and my nine-year-old daughter was convinced he was the real one! Both my daughters are already excited about coming again this year.”
Rebecca West from Darwen can’t wait to visit again and said: “Father Christmas looked exactly like the one from Santa Claus the movie and we will certainly be coming back this year.”
Special visits can be arranged for children with additional needs such as epilepsy or autism and the professional team of elves will work with parents to ensure the experience is tailored to their child's individual needs.
They can also arrange exclusive appointments for family groups of 10 children so brothers, sisters, cousins and friends can enjoy the experience together.

“Last year we were inundated with fantastic feedback from our unique Santa’s Workshop and we are working with Father Christmas and his special team to build on this success.
“It will be bigger and even better than last year and a visit to Santa’s Workshop will bring out the child in everyone!

Tickets are £9.95 per child and can be purchased at Santa’s Workshop opposite the Ask Me Point or online at https://www.designmynight.com/uk/whats-on/something-a-little-different-events/santas-workshop-experience?t=tickets (online booking fee of £1 applies). Two free adults per child can also enjoy the experience, which will last approximately 15 minutes and visitors are welcome to capture the moment on their own cameras.
A percentage of each ticket sale will be donated to The Mall Blackburn’s Charity of the Year – Theo’s Warriors.
