Ask Me Point returns to The Mall Blackburn

- bigger, better and 'greener' than ever

Following the easing of COVID restrictions, the Ask Me Point is open once again to assist shoppers at The Mall Blackburn, with the customer services team offering more services than ever before.

As well as reinstating popular services such as Collect+ for easy parcel collections and returns; Acorns of Lancashire garment cleaning; and the much-loved Strollex Kiddie Cabs; the Ask Me Point now also accepts eBay packages, as well as offering FREE mobile phone charging stations.

In addition, shoppers can also now recycle old mobile phones at The Mall's new ecoATM: a convenient and responsible way for you to trade in your pre-owned smartphone for instant payment, safe in the knowledge that the device will be recycled and reused. The ecoATM organisation has diverted over 23 million devices globally from landfill over the past decade.

Another green initiative that has been launched is aimed at little shoppers. In a bid to reduce the amount of plastic being used The Mall will give children a free Mall Monster reusable water bottle, which can be filled at the water refill station located at the County Court entrance, for every three single-use plastic bottles they hand in at the Ask Me Point.

Loraine Jones, General Manager at The Mall Blackburn, said: "We are absolutely delighted to open our Ask Me Point once again, especially as we can now offer even more services than before.

"The team at The Mall are completely committed to customer service and - with Acorn's environmentally friendly garment cleaning process, the new ecoATM for recycling old smartphones, the plastic bottle recycling initiative and water refill station - we're very proud that we're able to support shoppers who are looking to be a bit more eco-conscious.

"There are also plenty of convenient parcel services available with Collect+, our Amazon lockers, and eBay deliveries and returns.

"Whatever you need help with at The Mall, just head to the Ask Me Point and the team will be happy to advise."
