Blackburn Visitor Centre reach final of Tourism Awards

Blackburn Visitor Centre has Outstanding Service

The staff at Blackburn Visitor Centre were proud to have reached the final of the Lancashire and Blackbpool Tourism Awards for the second year running. Nominated in the category of Visitor Information Provider the finalists are decided through mistery shopping results as well as a submitted report.

The staff from Blackburn Visitor Centre along with the Development Manager for Regeneration attended the Tourism Awards ceremony last week. Unfortunately they lost out to Garstang but the Visitor Services Manager was still very pleased with their success at reaching the final. She said;

"Unfortunately we didn't win but it was great to be nominated and celebrate the outstanding level of service that the Visitor Centre staff offer to visitors and residents of Blackburn and Darwen."
