Heston Blumenthal is coming to Darwen!

In a series for channel 4 which aims to bring back to life the fun and nostalgia of our favourite foods.
One episode will feature Heston reviving the traditional British Tea Break experience and has chosen Darwen as the location.
On an enormous magical scale, Heston will create a once in a life time tea break experience, full of many twists and surprises and...... it is all to take place at the India Mill Centre.
India Mill Centre was chosen because of its historic and iconic importance within the local area and we are hoping to offer this opportunity to a variety of citizens within the area.

• How do you make and like your tea?
• Do you like to dunk you biscuits in your cup of tea? If so do you have a technical way of going about creating the perfect dunk?
• Are you a cake or biscuit baker – if so tell us about your favourite cake or biscuit and how you make them?
• Do you have any memories of the India Mill?
• Did you once work there when it was a textile and cotton factory?
• What are your memories of Darwen?
This experience has many wonderful surprises which will remain a secret until the day but we can assure you that it will be a tea break experience which you will never forget. The filming date is to potentially be on Thursday 19th July.
