Blackburn Market Celebrates Burns' Night

Blackburn Market will be celebrating Burns’ Night on 25th January 2014 with a range of entertainment and activities.

10am – Scottish dancing display by the students of DAPA dance school

11am – 3pm Celebrate Burns Night with Scottish themed children’s crafts in our interactive zone next to Blackburn Visitor Centre

11am – Blackburn Gilbert & Sullivan Society present highlights from their forthcoming production of The Mikado at the Thwaites’ Empire Theatre (25 February to 1 March)

12 noon – Local Scottish piper, Tony Bolton will give a short recital on the bagpipes to celebrate Burns’ Night
