People Planet Film Festival is back!

Let it rain… put your wellies on and come along to Darwen Library Theatre and venues across Blackburn for two weeks of free films and workshops that aim to spark the imagination and give a different perspective to life right here in Blackburn with Darwen.

People Planet Film Festival, is an enviromental film festival in Blackburn with Darwen running from 7th to 21st February 2014.

This year the People and planet Film Festival is sponsored by Flood Watch, a community resilience project designed to raise awareness about flood risk and prepare communities for extreme weather.

There will be 2 weeks of FREE films, family craft workshops & entertainment. The films include Rango with Johnny Depp, Trashed starring Jeremy Irons, William Defoe in The Hunter, Even the Rain starring Gael Garcia Bernal & the ground breaking Avatar. The venues are Darwen Library Theatre, Blackburn Library & Blackburn Museum.
