Stars from the big and small screen are travelling through time to meet sci-fi fans at The Mall Blackburn as part of an out of this world weekend of fun.

The man behind Jabba the Hutt, Tony Phillpot and Dr Who super-villain Jimmy Vee, who has played several monsters and aliens in the cult show, will join Tim Dry, who played J’Quille in Star Wars Episode VI Return Of The Jedi on Saturday 31st October to Sunday 1st November.

The super sci-fi weekend will also feature props and film paraphernalia from the hit TV show Doctor Who including a TARDIS, a Dalek and K9 as well as life size models of the Star Wars leads Han Solo with a Star Wars speeder bike.

The free event will take place in Victoria Court and there will be autograph and photo opportunities with the stars throughout the two days.

Children will also have the chance to get their faces painted as their favourite sci-fi characters as well as make their very own light-sabre in an interactive workshop.

In the week running up to the event, The Mall will be holding free Halloween crafts in Victoria Court as well a competition for the best fancy dress.

There will also be a chance to win spectacular goodies and money to spend in-store with The Mall’s special event scratch cards.
