Last chance for beach fun at The Mall Blackburn

With typical Bank Holiday weather on the way this weekend The Mall Blackburn is urging families to take advantage of its fabulous, free indoor beach before it closes on Sunday 4th September.

Thousands of children from across the county have already had a whale of a time on the beautiful beach, which also has balloon-modelling, face-painting, a giant deckchair, seating area for parents and Punch and Judy shows.

Loraine Jones, General Manager at The Mall Blackburn, said: “With the end of the summer holidays now in sight, and the Bank Holiday weather staying true to British form, it is the perfect time for some last minute fun here at The Mall.

"Parents can pick up school essentials from a wide range of retailers and children can have a whale of a time in the sand!"

Beach opening times are 10.00am until 4.30pm Monday to Saturday and 10.30am until 4.30pm on Sundays.
