ONE GREAT DAY had by all!

The Mall Blackburn raised £150 for two deserving charities by hosting ‘ONE GREAT DAY’ on Saturday 24th June!
The donations will be split between The Mall’s chosen charity, Cash For Kids, and the ONE GREAT DAY charity, Great Ormond Street Hospital.
It was a fun filled day with free glitter tattoos, crafts and stunning theatrical performances by lookalikes of the famous Alice and Mad Hatter characters.
In preparation for the big day The Mall called upon the people of the North West to donate their entertainment services for the event and Manchester based A Princess to Your Door was more than happy to help!
ONE GREAT DAY, which was the brainchild of parents whose son received care at Great Ormond Street, was established in 2014 and is an annual event.
Its aim is to inspire, engage and empower communities to make a difference by getting involved in local fundraising events held within shopping centres across the UK. The initiative has raised over £250,000 for more than 50 different children’s charities.
Loraine Jones, General Manager at The Mall Blackburn, said: “I would like to thank A Princess to Your Door for donating their services on Saturday, the characters were spectacular and kept everyone entertained!
“More than 140 other shopping centres took part in the event and I am looking forward to hearing what the event raised nationwide.”
