We’re very proud of our food and drink heritage in Lancashire and we want to encourage consumers and traders in Blackburn to ‘Think, Buy, Eat Local.’
Lancashire and Blackpool Tourist Board (LBTB) has recently launched a Quality Mark to ensure the highest standards in the town’s eating establishments, and a ‘Made in Lancashire’ award to encourage establishments to use and promote local produce in their menu. Endorsed by Visit Britain and developed with ‘Quality in Tourism’ and ‘Made in Lancashire’, the partnership acknowledges those establishments that provide a consistently high quality eating experience.
