Blackburn with Darwen Walking & Cycling Festival 6th to 21st June 2015
A 16 day festival with over 30 walks, rambles & cycle rides. A great way to keep healthy, have fun & make new friends.
6th - 12th June is walking week with walks to suit everyone whatever your ability - from a 1.5 miles easy paced walk to 13.5 miles West Pennine Moor Challenge!
15th - 21st June is dedicated to cycling in conjunction with National Cycling Week. Pedal around the park, cycle the canal tow path, learn the basics of Mountain Biking or if you've never been on a bike before there is a special session to learn with qualified instructors!

The Festival is organised by Blackburn with Darwen’s Countryside Services, alongside the Council's Re:fresh Team plus support from many local walking groups.
Witton Country Park is approx 1 mile to the west of Blackburn town centre and 2 miles from Junction 3 of the M65. The walks & rides start at various locations throughout the Borough so please check before you set off.

The park is well served by local buses and is about 1/2 mile from Cherry Tree rail station.
By Bus - Service No. 152 to Preston from Blackburn Boulevard.
