The Christmas Party on the Market takes place on Saturday, 9th December,2017 between 10am – 6pm.

A bumper Christmas Market shopping experience with a festive street feast is promised for Blackburn Town Centre as event organisers at the Blackburn Business Improvement District join forces with Blackburn Market .

Following the success of the Blackburn BID street fairs in May, July and September, the teams are now collaborating to fill up the available stall holder spaces within Blackburn’s popular indoor market for a one off weatherproof homegrown Christmas market event.

The extra pop-up traders, craft and gift stalls will spill out onto the streets with an exciting festive street food and drink feast on Ainsworth Street in the plaza space adjacent to the bus station.

Free festive entertainment provided by Blackburn Market will include the opportunity to step inside a giant snow globe, a Santa sleigh and a rodeo reindeer ride.
