Theatre & Comedy:

Although shows are being rescheduled due to coronavirus, the team at Blackburn’s King George’s Hall and Darwen Library Theatre are busy finding new opportunities so that people can continue to enjoy everything from comedy to opera.

The What’s On Guide on the King George’s Hall website is being updated with free opportunities to enjoy theatre direct from your living room.

If all you need is a good laugh at the moment, then there are lots of free comedy available too!

Romesh Ranganathan will be live streaming every day on Facebook at around 1:30pm with tales of his time in lockdown. Jimmy Carr is adding to the fun with his Little Tiny Quiz Of The Lockdown every evening at 6:30pm on Facebook with the answers at 8pm the same day.

Finally, Bring Your Own Baby have launched a new online show, Lockdown Laughs for Parents, every Thursday at 8:30pm. Put the kids to bed, get a drink, grab a seat and get ready for a laugh. They have got together the best comics in the UK – most of which are parents on lockdown too – to bring parents some much needed giggles!

Keep an eye on the website for more theatre direct to your living room!
