Food and Drink Market to be held in Darwen at Christmas

Local Businesses in Darwen have joined together to bring the community some festive live entertainment and a christmas market offering food and drink from different continents. Following in the traditions of other successful Christmas Markets, the event will be held between 6.00pm and 10.00pm from Tuesday 21st December – Thursday 23rd December. Organisers are urging people from Darwen and the surrounding Rural areas to come and enjoy the finest sights, sounds, tastes and smells the festive period has to offer. This family friendly Christmas Market will include live musical entertainment as well as arts and craft activities for children.
Local businesses Bridgewater and 3 in a bar are organising the event and have approached Darwen Market, Darwen Shop and Business association, Bar U pubs and shops and Summer Fun 4 All to see who else would like to be involved. Stalls are open to local traders and any wishing to get involved can enquire by emailing visit@blackburn.gov.uk
