British Food Fortnight at The Clog & Billycock

The Clog and Billycock, Blackburn launch a new carvery roast dining experience and autumn dessert to celebrate British Food Fortnight (21st September – 3rd October).

The Clog and Billycock a rural country dining pub invites customers to enjoy a Mini Joint Carvery Roast to Share for £28.00. A selection of new autumn desserts will also be on the menu to celebrate the British harvest from a Traditional Bramley Apple Pie served with a Slice of Creamy Lancashire Cheese to a Lythe Valley Damson and Pear Crumble.

Commenting on British Food Fortnight, Nigel Haworth, Chef Patron of Ribble Valley Inns, “I have always been a huge supporter of using local British produce on the menu.  It’s great to have national celebration like British Food Fortnight as it helps to continue to raise awareness of the fresh, local, fantastic ingredients we have on our own doorstep!

Working with local brewer Daniel Thwaites customers can also celebrate Cask Ale Week (27th Sept – 6th Oct) and try a selection of Thwaites ales with a Beer Paddle for only £3.50.
