Categories: Town Centre News

VINTAGE tractor enthusiasts are in for a treat at Blackburn BID’s Countryside Comes to Town festival.

Ribble Valley farmers are set to turn out in style at the midsummer festival in a convoy of 5 vintage tractors.

The tractors will be located on Church Street throughout the event, which is taking place across the town centre on Saturday, June 20.

Michael Fox, has been collecting tractors alongside his brother for 20 years, he said: “I’m going to be bringing a selection of vintage tractors to the event including the classic ‘Ferguson’ and the ‘Fordson’.

“I’m delighted to be helping the Blackburn BID bring the countryside to town!”

As well, as having much to attract enthusiasts the one-day festival will also have plenty for children, particularly a petting farm and live creature handling.
