Trick and Treat is based in Darwen Lancashire
We offer Professional dog grooming, training and walking services for dog owners in the north west of england.

Trick and treat is owned by Anita De Bie.
Anita has 40 years experience with dogs and has a Fdsc Canine Behaviour and Training, ABC Professional grooming Certificate and is currently studying for Bsc Hons in Canine Behaviour and Training.

Dog walking is offered as a daily or weekly service.
Walks are taken through the beautiful woodland areas around Darwen and Blackburn.

Dog training is taught using reward based methods and is encouraged by the use of treats,toys and both vocal and physical praise.
We do not use check/choke chains or any other negative teaching methods.
Dog training should be fun for both you and your dog!

Using up to date disciplines known as positive training there is no need to scare a dog submission.
Using rewards and praise enables you to have fun watching your dog enjoy and respond to training.
It had become understood in recent years that with the use punishment you risk damaging your relationship with your dog which will impact the effectiveness of training given.
If a dog is fearful, they cannot learn.
The same applies to humans.

Whilst in Anita’s care you need not worry about your canine companion as she is able to deal with any situation that may arise.
