Sir Bradley Marc Wiggins, is a British former professional road and track racing cyclist, who competed professionally between 2001 and 2016.
He began his cycling career on the track, but later made the transition to road cycling. He is the only rider to have won both World and Olympic championships on both the track and the road as well as winning the Tour De France.
He has worn the leader's jersey in each of the three Grand Tours of cycling and held the world record in team pursuit on multiple occasions.
He won a gold medal at four successive Olympic Games from 2004 to 2016, and held the record as Great Britain's most decorated Olympian with 8 medals.

King George’s Hall is situated on the corner of Blakey Moor and Northgate in Blackburn Town Centre.
Blackburn town centre. From M6 Junction 31 follow A667 into Blackburn or from M65 Junction 4 follow A666 to Blackburn.
By car: Blackburn is easy to access from the A59 or M65 motorway. There is limited on street parking around the venue but there are a range of car parks within the town centre. The closest include:
• Open air parking – Barton Street: BB2 1JL
• Multi-storey parking – Feilden Street: BB2 1LQ or The Mall: BB2 2DQ

By train: The main Blackburn railway station is located off Railway Road. Direct trains run from Darwen, Bolton and Manchester.
On foot: Blackburn Train Station – 10 mins walk; Blackburn Bus Station – 8 mins walk
