On Saturday 16th December from 5-7pm you are invited to come and ‘SHARE YOUR LIGHT’. Blackburn Festival of Light drummers will be playing and there will be fantastic walkabout performances and light installations to bring an atmosphere of festival to Cathedral Square. We are looking forward to seeing our community pull together, as you all did for the virtual parade in 2020, to join us, coming together to celebrate and make this a fabulous sharing event.
Our musical friends BLOWJANGLES will be joining us for 'Share Your Light' at Cathedral Square this Saturday!
Blowjangles have been a part of the festival lineup for many years now and we're excited to see them return!
Couldn't make our LED Lantern making Workshops at the weekend?? Come along to the BFOL Hub at the old Lewis Museum next to The Making Rooms to our paper bag LED lantern and LED hat drop-in workshop happening from 1.30 - 4.30pm Saturday 16th before the event starts!
Plus, there's plenty of places for food and drink in Cathedral Square:
Checks and Greys – serving food 8.30am-7pm
The Firepit – serving food 12-10pm
The Firepit Tipis – open for drinks from 12 noon until 11pm
Turtle Bay – serving food 11am-11pm
