Details have been announced for this year's Mayor's charity ball which takes place in March.
The Mayor of Blackburn with Darwen, Councillor Parwaiz Akhtar, will host the fundraising event on Saturday 2 March at King George's Hall in Blackburn.
The event includes a three-course dinner and entertainment.
This year, Councillor Parwaiz Akhtar has selected three charities to support during his Mayoral year: ELHT&Me, East Lancashire Hospice and Nightsafe.
ELHT&Me is the official charity of East Lancashire Hospitals NHS Trust and dedicated to enhancing healthcare services, facilities, and equipment.
The East Lancashire Hospice focuses on offering compassionate care and support to patients receiving end-of-life care.
Nightsafe addresses the plight of homeless and vulnerable young people in Blackburn with Darwen and offers accommodation, day centres information, advice, and guidance.
Tickets are priced at £40 per person.

Ticket requests will close on Tuesday 20 February and with over 60% of tickets already sold, it's recommended to reserve promptly.
