Former Blackburn with Darwen Council Leader, Sir Bill Taylor, will be launching his recently published memoirs 'One in a Million' at Blackburn Central Library on Thursday 7th December. An opportunity to hear Sir Bill talk about his public service of almost 50 years - a rare opportunity to see behind the scenes of local governance and political operations.
He will also be selling and signing copies of the book, price £25 each ( which includes a donation to 'Save the Children & The Local Hospice)
The two sittings will be from 12.30 - 1.30 pm and the second from 2 - 3 pm.
Tickets can be pre-booked on Eventbrite, or just turn up at the library on the day.

Blackburn Library is located in the centre of Blackburn, close to the main shopping streets & car parks. Follow all main routes into Blackburn town centre. There are numerous car parks around the town centre. Parking is free on Council car parks on Saturdays & Sundays (Please note charges will apply on The Mall & other privately operated car parks)
