An evening of Literacy for All with Christina Gabbitas (festival coordinator and library patron for children & young people)
Join us for an inspiring evening with Christina Gabbitas, where we'll dive into the world of literacy and explore how it benefits everyone with the opportunity to learn some signing words from local resident Danielle Tudor (BSL). Christina will also be joined on the night by BSL interpreter Gemma Mazza.
The Blackburn with Darwen Children's Literature Festival will return to the borough from 2nd - 8th October 2023 thanks to generous funding from the Arts Council as well as Blackburn with Darwen Libraries, Darwen Town Council, Darwen Rotary and the Lloyds Trust with sessions for schools during the week and a number of events for the general public too. Advance booking is strongly advised - reservations for all of the following can be made on www.eventbrite.co.uk and all events in the festival are free of charge.
