Music-mongers The Songsmiths will be bringing their terrific troubadour talents to Darwen Market, pushing their mobile music factory ever ready to write a bespoke song, especially for you and your family.
You might require a song about your favourite pet? Maybe you want a song to take home to your Nana? Perhaps you need an apologetic song because you tripped over your neighbour’s cat? Then The Songsmiths might just help you save the day!
We will quickly work together to write lyrics and compose a tune then you can record your brand-new song on your mobile device for swift delivery. You and your family are very welcome to sing and play along. It won’t take long, but it will last forever!
The chaps will be performing between 11am and 3pm in the Market. They may pause during the day to accommodate the Winter Service on the Market Square.
Children must be supervised at all times.

Darwen Market is located at the heart of the town centre, just off the A666 and is easily accessible for pedestrians, cars, bike, bus and train. The imposing Victorian market hall is situated on the town square by Croft Street and Parliament Street in Darwen.
The market is accessible from several entrances including dedicated entrances from our car parks. Darwen offers many car parking spaces on-street as well as a rooftop car park and undercover car park accessible from School Street.
