Join us for a pre – pride event featuring amazing female vocalists: Grace Davies is a 26-year-old singer, songwriter, musician and producer from Blackburn, Lancashire. Since she began making music, she has scored huge success, with tens of millions of streams for her EPs, support across the board at radio and acclaim everywhere from The Sunday Times to the BBC.

When she was 18, her first self-released project received national BBC Introducing support, was championed by BBC 6 Music and had a track remixed by Radio 1 Dance Music DJ, Danny Howard. In 2017, she was invited to appear on the X Factor and her audition video of original song ‘roots’ went viral. She was runner up, and in a first for the show, shook up the format by showcasing her original material throughout the competition – gaining a top 2 iTunes chart position and numerous top 10s.

Her latest EP, It Wasn’t Perfect, But We Tried sees her at her most confident and in the producer’s chair for the first time. As well as writing credits on all five songs, along with David Sneddon, Anu Pillai, Katya Edwards, Rachel Furner & Jack Vallier, she co-produced three tracks with Toby Scott, and fully produced two of the tracks herself.

Grace is completely owning her sound and is never happier than being at the forefront of her projects, both sonically as well as creatively – as a result she is blazing a trail for women in a male-dominated industry.

Janet Devlin, the talented singer-songwriter hailing from Northern Ireland, has carved a niche for herself in the music industry with her soulful vocals and heartfelt lyrics. Her highly emotional sound is formed by a fusion of traditional folk, country, indie and quirky pop. With a talent for penning deeply personal and introspective lyrics, she has created a body of work that resonates with listeners on a profound level. Her songs often explore themes of love, self-discovery, and resilience, showcasing her poetic prowess and emotional depth.

Janet gained widespread recognition through her appearance on the UK X Factor in 2011. Finishing in fifth place during the live finals, she captured the hearts of millions with her unique vocal style and emotive performances. She began releasing music shortly after and hasn’t looked back. Her first album, Running With Scissors, reached #1 on the Indie Breakers Chart and made the Top 50 of the Official UK Charts.

More recently, Janet was the subject of a powerful documentary aired on BBC One entitled “Janet Devlin: Young, Female and Addicted”. During the programme she confronts her addiction to alcohol and meets other young women affected by problematic drinking. Janet regularly takes part in conversations around addiction and mental health.
