History of Blackburn Walking Tour

 Start : outside Blackburn Cathedral Checks and Greys, Blackburn, BB1 1FB

A guided walk around Blackburn looking at old buildings and how the town has changed. A talk about the history of the town.

Involves 2 hour walk around the town Please advise the organisers of any accessibility issues in advance. All routes will be wheelchair accessible.

This event is organised independently of the council by a knowledgeable historian. Fully PL liability insured and First Aid trained.

Road Directions

From the M6 (north or South) join the M65 at Junction 29. Leave the M65 at Junction 5 & follow A666 towards Blackburn.From Manchester M60 leave at Junction 18 onto M66. Leave M66 onto the A56. Keep on the A56 until you reach M65, head for Blackburn and leave at Junction 5. Follow A666 into Blackburn. The Cathedral is located on the A666 Darwen Street opposite Radio Lancashire.
