Laurence Jones, the multi-award-winning guitarist, vocalist, and songwriter born in Liverpool, released his 8th studio album ‘Bad Luck & The Blues’ with his dynamic power trio. Music Radar voted the young Laurence one of the world's top 10 blues-rock guitarists. He's shared stages with legends like Sir Van Morrison, Sir Ringo Starr, Jeff Beck, Status Quo and Joe Bonamassa.
Buddy Guy once compared him to a young Eric Clapton with a devoted fan-base across the UK and Europe. Laurence's virtuoso performances earned him many awards and over 50,000 album sales. Jones has also appeared at some of the world’s most prestigious venues, including the Royal Albert Hall in London and New York’s Carnegie Hall.
Road Directions
Darwen Library is situated in Darwen town centre on the junction between School Street and Knott Street. From M65, approach along the Main road into Darwen, turning left into Union Street, then right into Knott Street. From Bolton, approach along main road into Darwen town centre, turn right along Church Street past Darwen Bus Station, follow the road round toward Railway Road, and turn left onto School Street.
