This 1940’s Variety Show is a light-hearted, yet respectful look at wartime entertainment known as E.N.S.A. Your host and 40’s vocalist Mervyn Francis returns along with comedy multi-instrumentalist Pete Lindup, ukulele virtuoso Anthony Mason, and our own forces sweetheart Beryl Johnson. Together they re-create stars of the period in “Workers Playtime” with tributes to Donald Peers, Gracie Fields, Frank Randle, Anne Shelton, Jack Buchanan, Rob Wilton, Vera Lynn and more.

Join us for our grand finale… "LAND OF HOPE AND GLORY"

Empire Theatre at 2pm.
